Dorm Room Tour! In Pictures :)

Hey Guys! So I thought it would be really fun to take some pictures of my dorm and show them to you all :)
My room isn't completely finished yet..I wanted to put up some pictures and put in a rug before I showed you, but I feel like its much over due being that I started school in September (oops). Anyways, I hope you all enjoy it and if your starting school next semester or even next year and don't know what to bring I hope this helps!

As you can this is why I didn't want to make this post yet..Nothing on my walls or bed! ugh, anyways my bedding is from Target, and the sheets are Christmas Tree Shop. On my bed is my Lonchamp which I use as  a tote to carry my things to class and behind it is my cozy snowflake blanket :) Under my bed is just my hamper which I got from Walmart and my side table I actually have no idea where its from..but on it is just my phone charger, the remote, and my keys.

Next up is my closet area. As you can see they clearly need to provide more space for clothes :) Next to my clothes is just a shoe rack from Target, and on the wall are my towels to shower that I just hung up with a hook. The dresser is 3 drawers which is helpful and in the first drawer are my bras and underwear, second drawer is pj's, and the third drawer holds my extra pair of sheets and hangers. On top on the dresser, the container to the left is from Target and stores all of my bath products like shampoo, conditioner,shower gel, razors,skincare items,etc. To the right of that is my "shower caddy" that I got from the dollar store and that just has everything I need to take to the bathroom to either wash my face or shower. Now on top of my clothes I have some random things like lint rollers, baby shampoo to wash my brushes, extra shaving cream, a box with shoes in it, and my weekend bag. 

This area is probably my favorite, The mirror is from Walmart, and you can see my desk which I will be getting to in a minute...

Now where at the desk :) On top I just have my laptop (which I should have shut..sorry) and my printer, behind the computer is a dry erase board that I use to write down my classes and meetings for that week. Plugged in is my wallflower and the scent I'm currently using is Twisted Peppermint, yum! smells so good! In the corner is a pencil holder that has pens, pencils, highlighters. Next to that I have a little hand sanitizer,  paper clips, and post its. You can see my holiday Starbucks mug next to my computer and some headphones . Then there's my favorite lamp ever that I got from Target and I need to get some for my room at home now also. On the shelf above my laptop I just have a jewelry box, some perfumes and body splashes, and a festive box of tissues. On the top shelf is my little VS Pink dog, cleaning wipes, a travel mug, and a random bag?

Now the final area is where the tv is. Which me and my roommate share. It stands on some broken vcr thing she brought? and our plastic carts (Mines on the left, hers is on the right). In the first drawer I just have my makeup bag and brushes. The second drawer is hair accesories, nail polish, and nail polish remover. The bottom drawer I keep my body lotions, hair products, body products, brushes, and hair tools.

These are all the items that I am current lusting over at the moment. 

-First up is a peplum top, I have been seeing these all over and I so badly want one in black.
-Next is the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag, been wanting a cross-body bag and this one is gorgeous!
-A pair of Toms have been on my wishlist for some time now but the plain ones remind me of hospital shoes, until I saw these lace ones and I just need them!
-A big chunky chain bracelet I want so badly, I just love the look of it.
-Finally the Victor and Rolf FlowerBomb perfume I have been lusting over ever since I smelt it in Nordstroms :)

Skincare Favorites

I have been holding off on making a skincare routine video because I haven't found products that I love yet. I have been referring to Beautypedia.com as my guide to what's good for your skin out in the skincare department, which I highly recommend everyone use this site before purchasing any beauty product. So until I perfect my skincare routine I will be holding off on making that video.
But for now here are some of the skincare products that I have found and love at the moment:

-First is this cleanser from Neutrogena, I love how gentle it is and how it removes my makeup at night when I use it with my Clarisonic.
-Next is this face spray from Clinique that I like to use as a toner and something I'll throw in my purse if I want to cool off my face on a hot day. I love how multi- purpose it is.

-I am currently loving using this Neutrogena sunblock as a face moisturizer during the day. It's super light and non- greasy feeling and I haven't had any problem with it breaking my skin out.

-As for face masks the one that I am enjoying is the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. I like to use this if my skin freaks out and I have a lot of breakouts which this helps dry them right up.

-Last product is something that I also use to dry up any blemishes and its the Clean and Clear Persa Gel 10%. This stuff is no joke if you have any breakout and you put this on it and night by the next morning that thing will be all dried up. But don't use a lot of this or you will have some serious dry patches.

Beauty&&Home Haul!

Decided to do a blog post on the things that I picked up from my little shopping trip yesterday. Enjoy :)

First up was Ulta where I picked up a new brush head for my Clarisonic since it was about the 3 month mark for a new one. I got the deep pore cleansing brush which I really like and noticed a change in my skin when I first got this brush the first time. I was planning on trying out the new acne cleansing brush that they came out with but couldn't find it at my Ulta store. Maybe next time! 

Also at Ulta I got this Zoya polish in the color Jolene. I've been wanting a bright creamy pink color and decided to get this one since I have been wanting a Zoya polish for FOREVER. 

Finally got this Zoya nail polish remover that I have had on my wish list for a long time. I love the pump which is part of the reason that I have been wanting it. I tried it out today and I think I have found the only remover that I will be using from now on! I love how this doesn't have that terrible strong smell regular removers have and it also takes off my polish so much easier. 

Next up was Bath & Body Works where I got a new bulb for my wallflower in the scent Island Colada. Also decided to get a case for my candle in this really cute pattern! Also I had a coupon for a free item when you purchase $10 or more so I picked up the White Citrus body lotion for free! 

Last stop was MAC where I got a sheen supreme lipstick that I have been wanting to try. I decided to get the shade gotta dash! which is different from anything that I own and thought that it would be a really pretty color for the summer. I also love how these are so easy to apply and are pretty moisturizing and don't have to worry about topping it with a lip gloss.
